With our foundation in the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney in 1995, The Financial Management Association of Australia is a student society that caters to all students studying in Faculty of Economics and Business, not just those studying finance.

To be Australia’s most relevant and rewarding Association for students and graduates in business related fields.
FMAA Objectives
1. Support sponsors in recruiting the most suitable candidates;
2. Provide a professional forum for interaction between our members and sponsors; and
3. Develop industry awareness of our members.
How we help you
We seek to help students achieve their career goals. We achieve this aim in two key ways:
1. We host events and competitions to equip students with knowledge about the banking, accounting and insolvency industries to aid them make informed critical career choices
2. We guide students through the recruitment process by hosting professional workshops that seek to improve students resume and cover letter writing skills and their interview technique
